I have been a professional artist (painter) more than 20 years, enjoying photography
along the way, using it mainly as a tool to capture inspirations and compositions to paint.
Recently, my son reignited my interest and stirred my photographic pot enough for me to
search back and find pleasure again in photographs taken during the last two decades.
Many of my images were taken whilst we were living in Connemara, Ireland.
We have since moved to Brittany in France, so you'll find that here too.
Finally, we both love traveling in Milly the Motorhome so our collections of
images from around Europe should grow and grow as time goes on ...
My original art hopefully speaks for itself! I love colour and texture
and always strive to find the life force in my subjects. I try to

I've been a keen photographer for more than 60 years, having an interest in both
the creative and the technical side. I started with a Brownie Box Camera making
contact prints in a crude home darkroom. Later I progressed through from an Agfa Silette
35 mm viewfinder camera to a Nikkormat FTN SLR camera, with a macro lens, which was
bought second hand from a pawn broker in Australia whilst I was there in 1970.
Many of my digital images available here are scans from the original ektachrome slides
taken in the early 1970s when I drove from London to Australia, and back again,
in a Series 2A Landrover. I am proud to say that these images are now
valuable historical records.

TO OWN PRINTS OF OUR WORK ...
We are happy to arrange to have your chosen image/s printed for you with our preferred European online printing service. Shipping is international and will be included in our quote.
This is what you would need to do:
1. Message me with the name of the image and the approximate size you wish to print to.
I will discuss with you the closest size which I am able to organise with the printing service.
2. Choose whether you wish your print to be on canvas or paper.
3. If on paper, you need to choose either a gloss or matt finish.
4. Provide me with your postal address.
5. I will obtain a quote for the costs of printing, including shipping to you
6. Once you have agreed the quote I will request your payment by PayPal.
7. As soon as I have received your payment, I will purchase your print
and arrange to have it shipped directly to you.
8. This process will take approximately 2 to 3 weeks if no unforeseen delays occur.
